An Evening with the Austin Symphony Orchestra in Lakeway

Mark your calendar for An Evening with the Austin Symphony Orchestra in Lakeway. This inaugural concert with guest performers from the Lake Travis High School Orchestra will take place on November 16th at 7:30pm in the Lake Travis Performing Arts Center. The concert will begin with members of the Austin Symphony Orchestra playing the musical selections St. Paul’s Suite, Op. 29, No. 2 by Gustav Holst and Symphony No. 28 in A Minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Then, there will be a collaborative performance between the Austin Symphony Orchestra and more than two dozen Lake Travis High School musicians. Their performance will lead off with selections from Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky and close with selections from the Gustav Holst suite The Planets.
