Lakeway Arts + Culture Calendar

Join us to explore the Enchanted Forest Walk behind Lakeway City Hall this April! Tiny fairy and gnome homes line the way as you stroll under a canopy of magical trees and twinkling lights. Whimsical loving residents of all ages will delight in catching a glimpse of ethereal abodes along this self guided walk. Charming creatures abound and surprises await around every turn. See you there! When: April 15 – 29, 2024 Where: Trail behind City Hall Cost: Free Time: Dawn to Dark. The walk is enjoyable by day and many of the features light up at dusk for a magical evening stroll! Parking: Free parking is available at Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek) and Lakeway City Hall (1102 Lohman’s Crossing) If you would like to create a whimsical miniature scene for display on the trail, please contact the Event Coordinator at 512.314.7532 or email codycalhoun@lakeway-tx.gov.

Lake Travis High School students showcase their artistic vision of Lakeway’s cultural treasures in this month’s exhibit. The Lake Travis Student Art Exhibition: “Voices of Lakeway” showcases the creativity and artistic skill of student artists. The exhibition is a selection of works produced by student artists during the 2023-2024 school year. Throughout the school year, some of these students have been asked to create work responding to a prompt of self reflection, some created their works with the purpose of participating in a scholastic art competition, and others created works outside of their school classrooms.  Experience Lakeway through the students’ eyes at their exhibition throughout April. Meet the student artists at the reception on Saturday, April 20th, 2-4 pm at the Lake Travis Community Library.
