Go Behind the Scenes on the Lakeway Art Walk Studio Tour
Calling all art enthusiasts! The Lakeway Art Walk is happening this weekend, April 19th through 21st, and it’s your chance to delve deeper into the local art scene. In addition to the exhibits and events at the Hamilton Greenbelt and Hurst Creek Sculpture Garden, there will be self-guided Studio Tours (see interactive map below) on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 4pm, rain or shine. This is your opportunity to meet the makers and visit the studios of local artists, see their creative spaces, and discover unique works of art you won’t find anywhere else. Join us for the first Lakeway Art Walk weekend on April 19-21 this spring! Mark your calendar for a weekend of art, live music, theater, artisanal goods, food, and more! Inaugural Photography Exhibit Captures the Strength of Women
The Lakeway Arts District presents “Women in Photography”, a special photo exhibition celebrating Women’s History Month from March 1st – March 30th at the Lake Travis Community Library. This creative exhibit includes dramatic photos both by women photographers and portraits of women taken by local photographers. The exhibit was inspired by women’s history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality. We invite you to join us at the Artists Reception on March 9th from 1:30-3pm. Celebrate “Women in Art 2024” this February and March
The Lakeway Arts District and Bee Cave Arts Foundation present “Women in Art 2024”, a special two month-long art exhibition celebrating Women’s History from February 3rd – March 22nd at the The Hive Gallery in the Hill Country Galleria. This creative exhibit showcasing a diverse array of paintings, drawings, sculptures, mixed media, and fiber arts by 68 local women artists was inspired by women’s history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality.
