    Get Started in Documentary Filmmaking

    Join Lake Travis Film Festival and four-time Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker, Juan Agustin Marquez, for a free 3-week documentary filmmaking workshop. Over the course of three Saturdays from 10:30-12:00, they will teach you everything you need to know to make your first documentary film – everything from developing ideas, taking a film through production and into post-production, and getting a finished film seen. At the end of the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to make a short documentary film of your own. They will showcase these films at the 2023 Lake Travis Film Festival in September.     Get Ready for Inspiration Fest

    Lakeway Church’s Inspiration Fest will be a day-long, family-friendly celebration of creative gifts on April 23, 2022. More than an art fair, the Fest will feature exhibits, demonstrations, workshops, and talks on a wide variety of artistic endeavors such as painting, cooking, gardening, writing, photography, pottery, sculpting, acting, music and more. Until now, there has not been a free and publicly available Artist Directory for our diverse Lakeway area complete with artists from visual, performing, applied, digital, and literary arts.
