Lakeway City Park 25th Anniversary Photo Contest

Earlier this year, Lakeway City Park celebrated its 25th anniversary. During the month-long event a photo contest was held by the Arts Committee to highlight some of the natural beauty within the community. Residents were encouraged to submit striking images of Lakeway’s geological and scenic features.

Judges selected a first and second place winner from each category. Congratulations to retired Lakeway Mayor, Joe Bain, who took the Grand Prize with his stunning aerial photo titled “Hurst Creek”.

To see his grand prize winning photo and a display of all the winners from each category, please visit Lakeway City Hall at 1102 Lohmans Crossing. A large display with all winners is currently in the front lobby though the beginning of October.
