The City of Lakeway’s Arts Committee is excited to announce the date for the 2023 Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour!
Art Exhibit: 8/26 from 1-5pm.
Studio Tour: 8/26 and 8/27 from 12-5pm.
The Lakeway Arts Committee will hold their annual Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27. Over twenty artists will sell their work at the Lakeway Activity Center at 105 Cross Creek from 1-5PM on August 26. Attendees will find paintings, watercolor, pottery, garden art and more. Artist studio tours will be held around Lakeway on August 26 and 27 from 12-5pm.
The City of Lakeway Arts Committee has organized the event for several years and hopes even more people will explore the local art community in Lakeway. This year will have a new opportunity for attendees to create a unique art piece for a new Lakeway Rock Garden in Hamilton Greenbelt. All supplies and instruction will be provided to create a unique piece for the garden. Glitter face painting will return again this year for the kids.
Registration:
Starting June 1st, please sign up by contacting the Lakeway Activity Center by phone at (512) 261-1010, online or in person. Applicants must be a Lakeway Activity Center member to participate. Wall space is limited and booths will be signed in the order of registration. Please state on your application if you need wall space as it is not necessarily guaranteed you will get it.
