Spicewood Live – Beyond the Pale Concert
Spicewood Live is all about the live music of this year’s Spicewood Arts Season! It is filled with a variety of music that is high-energy, exciting, and promises you a delightful time at our event venue – Spicewood Vineyards.
Sure and we know you’ve secretly been yearnin’ every March for music from the little green island, Ireland, and Scotland, its Celtic cousin across the water. Yearn no more. Beyond the Pale, from the DFW metroplex, will treat us to their own delightful brew of Irish and Americana music with other musical flavors from around the world.
Lilting vocal melodies are backed by thrilling instrumental work from a variety of instruments: fiddle, flute, hammered dulcimer, accordion, guitar, mandolins, bodhran, whistle, concertina and saxophone. Beyond the Pale has been performing and recording since 2001, drawing cheers from critics and audiences. Expect a romp through Ireland, Scotland, and deep into the music of all the folk who sailed from there and began their own traditions (Appalachia, Texas swing). Wearing green is optional.
