Discover the Stunning Nature-Inspired Artworks by Linda Wells

Renowned local artist and illustrator Linda Wells will be exhibiting her captivating oil and pastel paintings at the Lakeway Library’s meeting room this month. A native Texan with a lifelong passion for art, Wells served in the Marine Corps before pursuing formal art education at Victoria Junior College and the Texas Academy of Art in Houston.

Linda’s professional career included roles as an Art Director at printing companies and in the graphics department of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. After retiring, she dedicated herself to oil and pastel painting, specializing in plein air techniques. Her works often feature nature and animals, reflecting her deep appreciation for the natural world.
