
Two Inspiring Art Exhibits for Women’s History Month
The Lakeway Arts District is thrilled to celebrate Women’s History Month with two stunning exhibits produced by Women in Visual Art (WIVA). These two incredible exhibits, Women in Art and Women in Photography, showcase the incredible talent and vision of local women artists and photographers. Join us for this month-long celebration of women’s creativity and inspiration!
Third Annual “Women in Art” Exhibit
From February 26th to March 28th, immerse yourself in the diverse world of women’s art at Women in Art exhibit held at the Bee Cave Arts Foundation Hive Gallery. This highly anticipated annual exhibit promises a captivating collection of 160 works by 88 talented women artists spanning various mediums and styles. Experience the unique perspectives and powerful expressions of talented women artists at the Opening Reception on March 1st from 2-4pm.
Second Annual “Women in Photography” Exhibit
Capture the moment! Starting March 1st and running through March 29th, the Lake Travis Community Library will host the second annual Women in Photography exhibit. This showcase of 32 photographs highlights the artistry and skill of these 14 talented women photographers, offering a glimpse into their unique visual narratives from self-portraits to stunning landscapes. Immerse yourself in the evocative imagery and powerful narratives of these talented women photographers at the Opening Reception on March 8th from 1:30-3pm.
Both exhibits are produced and curated by Women in Visual Art (WIVA), a dedicated organization committed to supporting and promoting women in the arts. We encourage you to visit both locations and experience the remarkable contributions of these talented women.
