The Lakeway Holiday Season has Begun!

The 2025 holiday season is officially upon us, and Lakeway is absolutely bursting with festive events! 🤩 Get ready to fill your November and December calendars with joy, music, and lights!

We kick off the cheer on November 16th with a magical, FREE performance of excerpts from The Nutcracker 🩰 by Metamorphosis Dance at the Lakeway Activity Center—the perfect way to start the season! The next day, November 17th, you can enjoy the lovely Lakeway Photo Festival Opening Reception 📸, showcasing beautiful local photography. Don’t forget to catch the classic Irving Berlin musical, White Christmas ❄️, running throughout the holiday period at TexArts for a dose of nostalgic holiday romance!

The December fun begins on December 5th with the annual Lakeway Lights On! Festival. Join us at Lakeway City Hall to witness the official lighting of the dazzling Trail of Lights!

Later in the month, the fun continues on December 9th with the Lake Travis Community Library Holiday Celebration 📚🎁, featuring festive crafts and games. And finally, bring your blankets and get ready to cozy up on December 12th for the annual Christmas movie night featuring the hilarious holiday favorite, Elf 🎬!

Join fellow swimmers at the Lakeway Swim Center’s annual Polar Bear Plunge on December 31st too!

Plus don’t forget to give the gift of music with tickets for the sixth annual A Night with the Austin Symphony Orchestra on March 8, 2026. Hurry up because early bird pricing ends on December 31st. Tickets are available online now.
