Amanda Contreras

Amanda Contreras is an Austin based artist who specializes in portraits of people and pets in oil paint. Amanda is a self taught artist. All of her paintings are done by hand. No digital processing, photocopying or printing are involved in her process. She is a member of Williamson County Art Guild and the Bee Cave Arts Foundation.

Her art has been, or is currently, on exhibit at multiple galleries throughout the Northern Austin area, including Framers Gallery, Williamson County Art Guild Gallery, The Open Doors Gallery and The Hive Gallery.

When she is not at her easel painting, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, grand daughter and her little maltipoo. One of her favorite past times is shopping with her daughters at their local vintage and antique shops and checking out the local art galleries. Amanda is currently open for commissions.
