Elizabeth Smith
My family and I lived and loved in several homes across the globe. While living in Seattle, I opened my own art studio teaching art classes for children and adults. Back in South Africa I pursued my career as an artist opening my business, Art on a Wall. Trading as a freelance fine artist / mural artist. Art with Heart is a cherished part of my business where I give back to my community by gifting murals, organizing or contributing to fund raisers. “Ek Voel ‘n Veer” (I feel a Feather) was a solo Art Exhibit / Fundraiser for my cousin suffering from MS. “Veertjie” (Feather) became an intrinsic element in my artwork. I design and implement my own art curriculum. I work with all levels also home school kids, children with ASD, ADD and ADHD and kido’s struggling with sensory processing disorder. I enjoy writing anecdotes of being a mother of three very entertaining human beings. A few pieces have been published online. A great addition to my art studio is the regular Sip & Paint events hosted for adults. Back in Austin I am thrilled to get back to work. Please call or pop on over to the studio.
Classes: I teach art classes in groups and offer private art lessons to both children and adults. I have experience teaching art to children with special needs including ADD, ADHD, ASD and sensory processing disorder. I also offer fun sip and paint events to groups of friends and company team building experiences.
