Be a Part of Women in Art

Calling all Women Artists in the Lake Travis area! International Women’s Day is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8th to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. Recently the entire month of March has been designated Women’s History Month as a national celebration.

To honor “Women in Art next March, the Lakeway Arts District will be showcasing many talented female artists in our area at a special month-long exhibit at the Lake Travis Community Library.

Artwork inspiration includes women’s history, issues and rights like voting, equality, health, beauty, motherhood, etc.

If you are a woman artist living in the Lake Travis area, we invite you to submit your work for consideration at this month-long exhibit. Deadline to submit an application is December 15, 2022 at 5pm.
