Zombie Invasion at Star Hill Ranch
Lake Travis Film Festival (LTFF) is hosting an outdoor film screening at Star Hill Ranch (15000 Hamilton Pool Road – map) on October 29 starting at 6 p.m. of the 2009 movie “Zombieland“ a 2009 American post-apocalyptic zombie comedy film starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin as survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Please be aware the film is Rated R. This is not just any spooky film screening! It will also feature a costume contest along with food and beverages. Film Festival Returns to Lake Travis in June 2021
Update: Film Festival is now scheduled for June 10-13, 2021. Mark your calendars! The Lake Travis Film Festival is now accepting submissions for the 2021 Film Festival scheduled to take place in the Lake Travis area June 10th to 13th, 2021. Lake Travis Film Festival Focuses on Opening Night
Lubbock native Kat Albert didn’t set out to be a filmmaker and certainly not the founder of this weekend’s inaugural Lake Travis Film Festival. Years ago, the former advertising agency owner said she was at a crossroads on what to do next after selling her company. Spending the following year writing seven screenplays, Albert realized none of them would be turned into a production unless she learned how to make films. Lake Travis Film Festival Kicks-Off in February
The Lake Travis Film Festival will kick off its inaugural season with the red carpet premieres taking place at Lakeway Spa & Resort in late February 2020. The festival, February 27, 28, 29 and March 1, will include six premieres; two World Premieres, two U.S. Premieres, a Texas Premiere and an Austin area Premiere.
