Exhibit your Artwork at the Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour
Don’t miss the annual Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour to enjoy the best local art in Lakeway! The Lakeway Arts Committee will hold the annual Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27. Over twenty artists will exhibit and sell their work at the Lakeway Activity Center. Attendees will find paintings, watercolors, pottery, garden art and more from many talented local artists. As an additional fun feature this year, visitors will be able to create a piece for a upcoming Lakeway Rock Garden in Hamilton Greenbelt. Bee Cave Arts Foundation showcases 60 Local Artists
The 4th Annual Bee Cave Arts Foundation Members Exhibition begins Saturday May 20 with an opening reception on May 20 from 2-4pm. Stop by and see 60 local artists and over 100 stunning works of art. This is always one of their most loved exhibitions each year. Art exhibit will be available through August 18th.

Watercolors that Capture Texas Living
Local artist Judy Hazen will display her watercolor artwork in the Lake Travis Community Library in the month of May. Hazen has lived in Lakeway with her husband Fred for 25 years. After retiring from a nursing career, her interest in watercolors developed from classes with local artists and various painting workshops presented by the Lakeway Painters. Hazen’s work is inspired by her RV travels and by her grandchildren. Stop by and meet the artist at the Library’s artist reception on Saturday May 6th from 1pm to 2:30pm. See you there!

Lakeway City Hall Art Gallery Grand Opening
Join us at the Grand Opening of the Lakeway City Hall Art Gallery on Monday April 17th at 5:30pm. Talented local artist Linda Wells has created a scenic art journey of Lakeway’s iconic vistas through her beautiful pastel artworks and paintings. Linda finds that a love of nature’s beauty is what inspires her to paint. Her exhibit will be available from April 3rd – June 30th during business hours in Lakeway City Hall. Stop by to take a unique artistic tour of Lakeway! All are welcome in the Art Gallery for light refreshments from 5:30 – 6:30pm before the Lakeway City Council meeting begins.

Call for Artwork at Austin Pets Alive!
Life Scout Tyce Bogdon from Boy Scout Troop 52 is working on a project benefiting Austin Pets Alive, a local non-profit organization that provides care to dogs and cats who are looking for a home. He is creating a new outdoor space that is in a high-traffic area of their Town Lake headquarters. The hope is that this new space will inspire and encourage more donations and pet adoptions. Because art is an important part of his life, Tyce would like to have a piece of artwork donated as a gift to Austin Pets Alive.
