To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Lakeway City Park in April, the Parks & Recreation Committee will host the following activities today:
- Kayaks and Stand-Up Paddle Boards: Come launch a kayak or stand-up paddle board and explore Lake Travis right from the shores of Lakeway City Park. Bring your own or borrow one onsite from The Expedition School.
- Water Safety Games: Our friends with Colin’s Hope will lead kids and adults in Water Safety Bingo and a Water Safety Relay Race.
- Life Jacket Fittings: Visit our Life Jacket Loaner Station and learn how to properly fit a life jacket.
- Learn CPR: Adults and children may learn compression-only CPR together. Sessions are at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
