The Lakeway Players present their production of The Odd Couple (Female Version).
Neil Simon’s adaptation of his timeless and hugely successful comedy classic, The Odd Couple, sees the lead characters transformed into Olive Madison and Florence Unger. Into Olive’s messy apartment Florence arrives, fresh from being dumped by her husband. Soon the messy and unconcerned Olive is sharing her cluttered place with the obsessively clean and hygiene-obsessed Florence. Olive’s easy-going outlook on life clashes with Florence’s high-strung neuroticism, testing their friendship to the limit. When Olive organizes a double-date, hilarious misunderstandings lead to uproarious moments that make their differences come to a head and sparks fly.
