Lake Travis Library Opens Newest Branch in Spicewood

The Lakeway Arts District sends huge congratulations to Library Director Morgan McMillian, Assistant Library Director Raj Kamat and the talented team at Lake Travis Community Library on the grand opening of their newest branch, West! This state-of-the-art facility, located at 21209 State Hwy 71 W in Spicewood, TX 78669 (map), offers convenient access to library services for residents of Bee Creek, Briarcliff, Rough Hollow, Spicewood, Travis Settlement, Sweetwater, and West Cypress Hills. The newly renovated 5,000-square-foot West branch offers a diverse collection of materials for all ages, including books, audiobooks, magazines, and DVDs. It also features public computers, a children’s area, a quiet study room, a covered patio, and a drive-thru window for convenient returns and pickups. Patrons can access notary public services, Interlibrary Loans, and an expanded digital collection. A grand opening celebration and program offerings are planned for the new year.
