Lakeway Fireworks Show says “BuhBye” to 2020 and Welcome to 2021

What a year! Now it is time to say “good riddance” to 2020 in style! The City of Lakeway is hosting a short fireworks show to blow out 2020 and ring in a happy and healthy 2021. The fireworks will launch at an elevated location on the western edge of Lakeway (behind Rough Hollow Elementary school) on Wednesday, December 30 starting at 8 p.m.

The show will last approximately 10 minutes. While it will be viewable from multiple points throughout the city, there will be limited parking available at some empty lots off Bee Creek Road just north of Highlands Boulevard (see map below for details). Please follow proper social/physical distancing guidelines, including wearing face coverings when near others not in your household. See you there!
