The Maritime Mastery of James Pearce
You are cordially invited to an evening of art and conversation at the “Meet & Greet the Artist Reception” featuring the works of James Pearce. On Monday, March 16, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Lakeway City Hall Art Gallery, we will celebrate his latest exhibition, “Working Boats,” a collection that captures the rugged elegance of the maritime world.
James Pearce brings a deep history to his craft, having begun his career in the early 1980s painting on-site among the tugboats and dry docks of the San Francisco Bay. His distinctive style—a masterful blend of pen, ink, watercolor, and woodworking—reflects a lifetime of observing the industrial beauty of the coast. A celebrated artist and frequent exhibitor at the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts, James’s work has earned top honors from the Society of Western Artists and been featured in North Light Magazine.
Please join us to explore these evocative pieces and meet the artist behind the vision. Whether you are a longtime collector or a lover of coastal heritage, we look forward to seeing you there for an evening of fine art and maritime storytelling. Exhibit runs March and April 2026 at the Lakeway City Hall Art Gallery (1102 Lohmans Crossing, Lakeway).
