Movies in the Park Returns to Lakeway (Updated)

Movies In the Park, the summertime series presented by the Parks & Recreation Department at Lakeway City Park, 502 Hurst Creek Road, returns this summer under proper social distancing guidelines. Movies will begin at dusk – 8:45 PM. Free popcorn and other treats will be available for purchase. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to set up at our ‘Theater Under the Stars‘. So that everyone can see the screen we request blankets to the middle and lawn chairs to the outside. Also, we request that any smartphones, blinking and glowing items be put under your blanket while the film is being shown. Please, no dogs at this event. . . . but bring the kids and tell your neighbors!

• Friday – June 12, 2020 – Secret Life of Pets 2 (2019) – Rated PG.  86 minutes.
• CANCELLED: Friday – June 26, 2020 – Lion King (2019) – Rated PG.  118 minutes.
• CANCELLED: Friday – July 24, 2020 – Pokemon Pikachu Detective (2019) – Rated PG.  104 minutes.
• Friday – August 7, 2020 – Peanut Butter Falcon (2019) – Rated PG-13.  93 minutes.
