Texas Youth Music Festival!

The Texas Youth Music Festival is inviting talented middle and high school garage bands and solo performers to compete in its annual music competition. This vibrant event will take place from October 11th to 13th, 2024, at the Hill Country Galleria Plaza in Austin, Texas.

Sponsored by the Austin School for the Performing and Visual Arts, the Bee Cave Arts Foundation, and the Musicians Woodshed, the festival provides a platform for young musicians to showcase their skills and gain valuable exposure.

Highlights of the Festival:

• Grand Prize: A coveted Orb Recording Studio session to produce your own EP.
• Additional Prizes: Awards for 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Event Schedule:

• Friday, October 11th: A kick-off event featuring a Meet and Greet with judges and a World Drum Circle.
• Saturday, October 12th: The main competition, where performers will have 10 minutes each to showcase their talents. Judges will provide feedback following each performance. The evening will conclude with extended sets from the winners.
• Sunday, October 13th: Enjoy Music Clinics, Open Jam Sessions, and a Pizza Party at the Musicians Woodshed.

Submission Details:

• Deadline: September 15, 2024, at midnight.
• Notification Date: September 20, 2024.
• Entry Fee: Submissions are free. If selected to perform, a $45 registration fee per person will be collected. Enter online!
