Dive into Summer Reading at Lake Travis Community Library!

Get ready for the “Color Our World” Summer Reading Program at the Lake Travis Community Library, designed to encourage reading and reward participants of all ages.

Join us for the LTCL Summer Reading Kick Off Party! On June 2nd, enjoy a scavenger hunt, photo booth, and more! Lakeway will host all-day board games and face painting (1 PM – 3 PM), while West will offer all-day crafts and face painting (10 AM – 12 PM).

Here’s a quick summary of what’s happening:

  • Reading Challenges for All Ages:
    • Children (Elementary-aged): Pick up a reading log to track titles or reading time and earn prizes for your efforts.
    • Teens & Adults: Grab a punch card and receive a punch for every title you read. After five titles, you can claim a free item from the LTCL Friends Bookstore!
  • Engaging Library Camps:
    • Elementary-aged children can join exciting Library Camps featuring crafts and science experiments.
    • Lakeway Camps: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 2:30 PM for various grade levels.
    • West Camps: Mondays at 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM for various grade levels.
