Lakeway Arts + Culture Calendar

Many years ago, after an inspiring watercolor class by Johnnie Fields, a well-known Lakeway artist, a group of his students enthusiastically established The Lakeway Painters which continues to grow and thrive today. Each Wednesday, The Lakeway Painters’ club gets together to paint in a supportive environment and have a friendly critique of their members’ art. Bring your artwork and supplies and meet others who like to express creatively with watercolors, acrylics, collages and more. The Lakeway Painters meet every Wednesday from 9:45 am-12:15 pm.They also have an annual art sale each fall. Join the Arts Committee Are you a Lakeway resident and interested in joining the City of Lakeway Arts Committee? We are looking for you! We currently have an opening for Arts Committee volunteers. Ideal applicants should be arts savvy and have strong computer skills along with an enthusiastic attitude for bringing the best arts programs and events to our great community. If you are interested to learn more, join us at one of our monthly meetings. If you are unable to attend, you can fill out this online form to send a resume and a cover letter detailing why your skills would be an asset to the Arts Committee and why you would like to join.
