“Women in Art 2024” Expands the Celebration of Women’s History!

Calling all women artists! The Lakeway Arts District and Bee Cave Arts Foundation invite you to be a part of an extraordinary two-month-long celebration of female artistry in the “Women in Art 2024” exhibition, showcasing a diverse array of paintings, drawings, sculptures, mixed media, and fiber arts. This empowering exhibition will take place at the Bee Cave Arts Foundation’s Hive Gallery at the Hill Country Galleria from February 3rd to March 22nd, 2024.

Unleash your creative expression and share your artistic vision as we celebrate women’s history, issues, and rights. This group show by women artists can include any subject matter, abstract or realistic. Artwork inspiration includes women’s history, issues and rights like voting, equality, health, beauty, motherhood, etc. If you are a woman artist living in the Lake Travis area, we invite you to submit your work for consideration in this two month-long exhibit. Deadline to submit an application is December 5, 2023 at 5pm.

Following the resounding success of our inaugural “Women in Art” exhibition last year, we are thrilled to expand the scope of this event, partnering with the Bee Cave Arts Foundation to provide a larger platform for women artists to shine. The Hive Gallery, with its stunning ambiance, will not only showcase exceptional artwork but also host engaging demonstrations, workshops and exciting events throughout the exhibition.

Join us in amplifying the voices of women artists and be a part of this inspiring celebration of creativity and empowerment. Submit your artwork today and let your artistic spirit soar!
