2022 Cool Arts Show puts Lakeway Artists in the Spotlight

Arts in the Afternoon: Pianist Maxwell Talai
On Sunday July 24th from 4-5pm, the Lakeway Arts Committee present Maxwell Talai, a talented classical pianist and composer who is the youngest in a family of famous and accomplished musicians. This free concert will be held at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek in Lakeway. Maxwell Milliano Talai Jr. is an American composer/pianist born 1996 in San Gabriel, California to a Creole/African American mother and Persian father. Lakeway Arts in the Afternoon
Throughout the year, the City of Lakeway Arts Committee presents “Arts in the Afternoon” a series of arts events from various talented and local performers. Performances include local musicians, bands, orchestras, operas, plays, dance and more. All performances are held at the Lakeway Activity Center located at 105 Cross Creek, Lakeway, TX. The City of Lakeway Arts Committee is proud to present this virtual piano concert by Dr. Kiyoshi Tamagawa created in June 2021. It is a selection of a few different recitals with descriptive and insightful narration by Dr. Tamagawa. Music includes Mozart, Clara and Robert Schumann and Beethoven.
