Arts in the Afternoon 2026: Music, Dance and More
Throughout the year, the City of Lakeway Arts committee presents “Arts in the Afternoon” a series of arts events from various talented and local performers. Performances include local musicians, bands, classical chamber music, dance and more. Most performances are held at the Lakeway Activity Center located at 105 Cross Creek, Lakeway, TX (unless otherwise noted). All performances are free and open to the public. The Band of the Hills, a beloved community ensemble for over 20 years, will be performing a free concert from 4 to 5 PM as a special outdoor Arts in the Afternoon performance. Arts in the Afternoon with Great Hills Brass Band
The Great Hills Brass Band is coming to town! As part of our Arts in the Afternoon series, this talented group will perform on Saturday, September 13 at 4 p.m. at the Hurst Creek Sculpture Garden. The Great Hills Brass Band, a dedicated ensemble from Great Hills Baptist Church in northwest Austin, plays a diverse range of music. Their repertoire includes everything from gospel and spirituals to patriotic and popular tunes.
