Lynn Zwern Art at LT Community Library
Join us this month at the LT Community Library to enjoy the colorful watercolor artwork of contemporary abstract painter Lynn Zwern. A member of Lakeway Painters, Zwern is known for her strong sense of color and design, which she incorporates into vibrant pieces using watercolors on Yupo paper. Her style is loose, creative, and eye-catching. All are welcome to attend Zwern’s reception on Sunday, September 22nd from 1:30pm to 3pm.

Local Painter Celebrates Willie Nelson
Local artist Sarah Walters will exhibit her artwork during the month of June at the Lake Travis Community Library. Working in acrylics, Walters enjoys painting her favorite performer, Willie Nelson. The community is invited to attend her reception on Saturday, June 1st from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

Color is My Language Exhibit
The Lake Travis Community Library will exhibit Color is My Language, the artwork of Barbara Kelley, during the month of May. Growing up in Ohio, Kelley’s love of color developed as she played dress up in her mother’s evening gowns, favoring the brightest colored pieces. After graduating with a Master of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance, Kelley’s color attraction continued as she performed in light opera companies, clad in beautiful, colorful costumes. After time off to raise her two sons and travel throughout the United States and Asia, Kelley later returned to the arts to study art history at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Support Lakeway Artists at the 2019 Cool Arts Party!
Saturday March 9th 1-5pm The Lakeway Arts Committee is hosting its 5th annual Cool Arts Party. Since 2014, the event features live music and fine visual arts created by Lakeway-area artists. Join the Cool Arts Party on August 19th
Mark your calendar, Lakeway’s free Cool Arts Party is coming up on August 19th and will feature fine art paintings, jewelry, sculpture, and pottery created by area artists from 1-5 p.m. at Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek. There is no fee for artists to display their works, but they must come to the Lakeway Activity Center to register their participation, provide their contact information, and obtain their display locations on a first-come basis.
