Enchanting Animals at Lake Travis Library
During the month of October, local artist Georgia Hagan’s realistic animal portraits are on display at the Lake Travis Community Library (LTCL). Georgia’s love of art blossomed while taking lessons at a local Tulsa art museum in her teens. She attended the University of Tulsa, where she met her husband, Marvin. After many years, they moved to Lakeway together and that’s when she began to paint in earnest again. Georgia became a part of the Lakeway Painters in 2015 and quickly discovered that she enjoys creating animal portraits and looking for ways to make her paintings more lifelike. Break out your Broom for the Witches Ride, Roll and Stroll
Join another fun and spooky Witches Ride, Roll and Stroll on Saturday October 22, 2022 from 6 PM to 9 PM. Bring your bicycles, tricycles, unicycles, skates, scooters, wheelchairs, golf carts, wagons, and plain ol’ walking feet to the Live Oak golf course driving range to participate in the parade. Parks & Recreation will provide streamers, glow sticks, and tape to decorate your wheels for the “flight” down Lakeway Drive!
