Join us at the Lake Travis Community Library as local cookbook author and library patron Mary Bryant Shrader discusses her debut The Modern Pioneer Cookbook, which features traditional “pioneer” cooking techniques such as making bone broth, sourdough bread, and cultured dairy. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. Lake Travis Reads is a One Book, One Community program whose goal is to bring the Lake Travis communities together through the shared reading and discussion of the works of our favorite authors.
