Lakeway’s Halloween Drive Thru Boo!
The City of Lakeway’s Parks & Recreation Department has a special treat planned for little goblins just in time for Halloween – a socially distanced and family friendly event will help lift your Halloween spirits! On October 30 (Halloween Eve) starting at 7 p.m., a special Drive Thru Boo! event will allow you and your family to drive the Boo Trail to three city locations to trick-or-treat through a special spooky drive-thru service. Candy and goodies will be safely delivered to your vehicles starting at the Lakeway Police Department. Zombie Invasion at Star Hill Ranch
Lake Travis Film Festival (LTFF) is hosting an outdoor film screening at Star Hill Ranch (15000 Hamilton Pool Road – map) on October 29 starting at 6 p.m. of the 2009 movie “Zombieland“ a 2009 American post-apocalyptic zombie comedy film starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin as survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Please be aware the film is Rated R. This is not just any spooky film screening! It will also feature a costume contest along with food and beverages. Chalk Your Walk
Time to show off all the amazing and creative talent here in Lakeway! The City of Lakeway Parks and Recreation Department’s ‘Chalk Your Walk‘ event is happening this week and through the weekend. You can pick up some multi-colored chalk and a goodie bag for FREE at the Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek) through 5 p.m. on Friday April 17th. The goodie bag will be delivered by way of a special drive-through service, so be sure to stay in your car and someone will come out to deliver your bag and chalk (limit 1 per child).
