The City of Lakeway Arts Committee is proud to present this virtual piano concert by Dr. Kiyoshi Tamagawa created in June 2021. It is a selection of a few different recitals with descriptive and insightful narration by Dr. Tamagawa. Music includes Mozart, Clara and Robert Schumann and Beethoven. About Kiyoshi Tamagawa Kiyoshi Tamagawa, Professor of Music at Southwestern University and Associate Dean for the Sarofim School of Fine Arts from 2014 to 2017, has performed as a soloist and collaborative pianist throughout North America, as well as Europe and Asia. Relax with Classical Chamber Music Concerts
For 30 years, the local organization Salon Concerts has been nurturing the art and love of chamber music, providing wonderfully curated concert experiences to the greater Austin area in intimate settings. Their educational program, CHAMPS, is dedicated to providing hard-working young musicians with opportunities to deepen their lives through excellence in chamber music education and performance. To keep the community, staff, and musicians as healthy as possible they have had to make the tough decision to cancel or postpone all major events at this time and move our education program CHAMPS online. Opera Returns to Lakeway
Opera, Etc. will be returning to the Lake Travis Community Library on Friday, November 15th at 4pm for another wonderful concert. They’ll be singing new pieces including some Art Songs, in addition to their favorite opera arias and duets. Composers Mozart, Puccini, Rossini, Saint-Saens, and Vaughan Williams will be represented in this afternoon of delightful vocal repertoire. We hope to see you there!

Spook-tacular Monster Concert at Lake Travis High School
Halloween is just around the corner and to get you in the spirit, Lake Travis Orchestra will perform a spook-tacular Monster Concert on Tuesday October 29th at 7pm at the Lake Travis Performing Arts Center.
