Join us for an educational Lake Travis Library Art Talk on Florence, Italy with Dr Pam Sachant. Florence was at the heart of the Italian Renaissance in the 15th century. The most prominent artists and architects were commissioned by members of the city’s leading families to create objects and spaces that reflected renewed interest in the classical world and humanism. In this talk, she will explore some of their accomplishments during this century of extraordinary exploration and innovation in art and architecture.
