Local artist Sofia Besondy will display her acrylic, colored pencil, watercolor, charcoal, and alcohol ink paintings at the Lake Travis Library. Her exhibit titled Point of View will contain 30 pieces spanning a wide range of media, subjects, and styles. The exhibit highlights Besondy’s artistic range with a variety of styles and media including acrylic, colored pencil, watercolor, charcoal, alcohol ink paintings, and collages.
“My work expresses life as a wondrous fractal of God’s creation,” said Sofia. “I love exploring different subjects such as city scenes, abstracts, flowers, birds, and angels.”
Besondy has previously exhibited her work at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, the Old Bakery Emporium, Cafe Lago, the French Legation, and the Laura Bush Library.
All are invited to join Sofia for a reception and demonstration on Saturday, January 20th from 2pm to 3:30pm
