Exploring Planets and Stars at the Lake Travis Community Library

Join us at the Lake Travis Community Library for fun events this summer like experiencing the wonders of the night sky from inside a mobile planetarium! On June 9th from 12-3pm, you can enter the planetarium dome and be introduced to a “star filled” sky at the Library. A trained astronomy educator from Austin Stars and Science will guide you through the stars and our solar system with the use of a digital planetarium projector and a laser pointer.

How to participate: There will be six, 30-minute Mobile Planetarium sessions (12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm, and 2:30pm) with a limit of 24 participants per session. Beginning at 11:30am on the day of the program, pick up an entry ticket for the session time of your choosing. First come, first served. Recommended for ages three and up.

This event is part of the LTCL Summer Reading Program. Please visit the SRP page for details and more fun events!
