Visions of Abstract Colors Dance at the LTC Library
Local artist Denise Schneyer will exhibit her acrylic and pastel artwork at the Lake Travis Community Library this month. Schneyer works in abstracts and enjoys creating images that are full of color and movement. She is a member of several arts organizations including the Austin Pastel Society, Lakeway Painters, and the Creative Arts Society of Austin. She has exhibited her work at the Dougherty Arts Center, Austin-Bergstrom Airport, and Studio 2 Gallery, among others. Join Lake Travis Film Festival and Lakeway Airpark for their final free Summer Movie screening of the year. This time, it’s the 1980 classic comedy, Airplane! The event starts at 7:30pm at Lakeway Airpark (115 Flying Scot St, Lakeway) in an actual airplane hangar. There will be free popcorn, pizza from CraigO’s and, for the grownups, there will be free Dirty Shirleys, the official cocktail of the 2023 LTFF festival, courtesy of Tito’s Vodka. Don’t miss the 2023 Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour to enjoy the best local art in Lakeway! The Lakeway Arts Committee will hold the annual Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27.
