    When: March 28, 2019 @ 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Where: Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek, Lakeway TX 78734 Newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter begin married life in a tiny, 5th-floor walkup apartment in a Manhattan brownstone.  Corie is a free spirit; Paul is a pragmatic soul.  As they adjust to marriage, they also must deal with the quirks of their new apartment; Ethel, her well meaning mother; Victor, their colorful new attic neighbor; and their own personal differences in how they approach life’s challenges.  What could go wrong?

    Meet The Lakeway Players Community Theater Group

    The Lakeway Players produce two shows a year at the Lakeway Activity Center. Currently, they produce a non-musical show in the spring and a musical in the fall. The Lakeway Players Community Theater Group foster and promote public interest in performing arts allowing community members to participate in all aspects of community theater including writing, acting, singing, dancing, directing, sound, light, costuming and backstage work. They perform regularly scheduled presentations in drama, satire, comedy and musicals.     Austin Brassworks Ready to Shine in Lakeway

    Join us as the City of Lakeway’s Arts in the Afternoon program showcases the Austin Brassworks performing “Showstoppers” on Sunday Aug 6th at 4pm at the Lakeway Activity Center.  This free and family friendly concert is for all brass band lovers! The Austin Brassworks formed in 2018 to explore original works for brass quintet, including those by the Nineteenth Century composer, Victor Ewald, and more contemporary composers of quintet literature, such as John Cheetham and Michael. Over time, the group’s repertoire has broadened to include high-quality transcriptions of music in a wide range of styles that were originally voiced for other instruments.
