ACTIVE	Open Calls for Art
	Lakeway Art Walk and Studio Tour Call open until April 18. Whether you’re a painter, sculptor, musician, dancer, chef, or craftsperson, we encourage you to apply! Home art studio owners are also welcome.  Visit the Lakeway Activity Center online or in person to register. APPLY HERE.
	Lakeway Photography Club Members Exhibition Call open May 1 to June 15. The Lakeway Photography Club is hosting a members-only photography exhibition “Pages to Pixels“ at the Lake Travis Community Library in August. Join today and submit your photos inspired by a favorite book or author. OPENS MAY 1.
	2025 Cool Arts Show Call opens May 1 to July 31. The Cool Arts Show returns Saturday August 23rd from 1-5pm at the Lakeway Activity Center. $35 fee to apply and must be a Lakeway Activity Center member to exhibit. OPENS MAY 1.
	2025 Lakeway Photo Festival Call open July 15 to August 31. The Lakeway Photo Festival showcases both the unique beauty of our area and the amazing talents of local photographers. FREE to enter. OPENS JULY 15.
	Contracommon Exhibition Proposals  Open call for artists is ongoing. Contracommon is happy to welcome members of our emerging artists community to exhibit in their 1200 sq. ft. gallery. The Contracommon residents meet quarterly to discuss proposals.  $10 fee to apply. For more details or to apply, APPLY HERE
	Lakeway City Hall Art Gallery Open call for artists is ongoing. The City of Lakeway Arts Committee is featuring local Lakeway artists throughout the year in the Lakeway City Hall gallery. Free to apply. For more details or to apply, APPLY HERE
	Lake Travis Community Library Art Exhibit Open call for artists is ongoing. The Friends of the Library sponsor an ongoing rotating art exhibit at Lake Travis Community Library which features a different artist every month. They welcome original art such as oil paintings, watercolors, photography, small sculptures, ceramics, fused glass, jewelry, and quilts.  Free to apply. For more details or to apply, APPLY HERE
	Bee Cave Hive Gallery Upcoming Exhibitions Deadline for Submission varies. The Hive Gallery hosts many rotating art exhibits throughout the year. Must be a member of BCAF to participate in most cases ($40 membership). APPLY HERE.

	Women in Art 2025 Call for entries ended January 16, 2025. Women in Visual Art (WIVA) celebrates female artistry at their 3rd annual Women in Art exhibition at The Hive Gallery from Feb 26 to March 28, 2025. BCAF Members: $30 to enter, $40 non-members.
	Women in Photography 2025 Call for entries ended January 16, 2025. Women in Visual Art (WIVA) invites all photographers to enter the 2nd annual Women in Photography exhibit from March 1-31, 2025 at the Lake Travis Library in celebration of Women’s History Month. Free to apply.
	2024 Lakeway Photo Festival Call for entries ended August 31st at 5pm. The Lakeway Photo Festival showcases both the unique beauty of our area and the amazing talents of local photographers. Photo categories include Abstract, Architecture, Birds, Community, Drone/Aerial, Greenscapes, Macro, Pets, Skyscapes, Waterscapes and Wildlife. FREE to enter.
	Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour 2024  Call for entries ended August 20th, 2024. The Cool Arts Show & Studio Tour returns Saturday 8/24 from 1-5pm at the Lakeway Activity Center with Studio Tours on Saturday 8/24  and Sunday 8/25 from 12-5pm  at various art studios throughout Lakeway.  $35 fee to apply. Must be a Lakeway Activity Center member to exhibit.
	Women in Photography  Call for entries ended January 29, 2024. The Lakeway Arts District is seeking submissions for the debut Women in Photography art exhibit, which will be on display from March 1-30, 2024 at the Lake Travis Community Library in celebration of Women’s History Month. This exhibit will feature the work of local photographers, showcasing their diverse perspectives and talents as well as compelling photographic portraits of women subjects.
	Women in Art 2024  Call for entries ended December 5, 2023. The Lakeway Arts District invites you to submit your work for consideration in an expanded two-month-long celebration of “Women in Art 2024” at the Hive Gallery during February and March 2024. $20 fee for Bee Cave Arts Foundation members. $30 non-members.
	Lakeway Church Inspiration Fest Call for entries ended Feb 1st, 2023. Join the Lakeway Church creative arts community to share your gifts and inspire others at this family-friendly fine art show and sale with an emphasis on teaching and demonstrations. $25 to apply.
	Lakeway Arts District and Lake Travis Community Library Celebrating Women’s History Art Exhibit Call for entries ended December 15, 2022. The Lakeway Arts District and the Lake Travis Community Library invite women artists to exhibit their artwork celebrating women’s history at the Women in Art exhibit in March 2023. Free to apply.
	Lake Travis Community Library Teen Read Week Art Contest Call for entries ended October 14, 2022. Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to enter the annual Teen Read Week Art Contest! To participate, students are asked to create an original piece of art inspired by their personal reading experiences. Free to apply.
