Go Behind the Scenes on the Lakeway Art Walk Studio Tour
Calling all art enthusiasts! The Lakeway Art Walk is happening this weekend, April 19th through 21st, and it’s your chance to delve deeper into the local art scene. Due to potential inclement weather, the outdoor exhibits and events at the Hamilton Greenbelt and Hurst Creek Sculpture Garden are cancelled, however there will still be self-guided Studio Tours (see interactive map below) on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 4pm, rain or shine. This is your opportunity to meet the makers and visit the studios of local artists, see their creative spaces, and discover unique works of art you won’t find anywhere else. So come out and celebrate art, music, and community at the Lakeway Art Walk!
Also on Saturday, April 20th, the Lakeway Heritage Center is showcasing an Art of Quilting exhibit from 1pm-4pm along with sharing Lakeway’s fascinating history. The Lake Travis Community Library is hosting a special student art exhibit as part of the Lakeway Art Walk Studio Tour. Talented young artists from Lake Travis High School will be showcasing their creations inspired by the unique spirit of Lakeway. Join the student reception from 2pm to 4pm to meet the artists, celebrate their creativity, and discover a fresh perspective on your own community.
