Rock Around the Clock at the Lakeway Sock Hop!
Join us at the first ever Lakeway Sock Hop on Monday, Sept 26, 2022 from 7-9 pm at the Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek, Lakeway, TX)! Don your favorite 50’s fashion and your dancing shoes at this FREE family friendly event. The City of Lakeway Arts Committee will be featuring The Highlights band plus a few musicians from People’s Choice band with vocals by renown singers, Barbara Calderaro, David Cummings and Howard T. Levine. Bring some snacks and beverages to rock around the clock as we enjoy the evening down Memory Lane!

Masterpiece Concert Series
The Pearce Family Foundation for the Arts and Social Progress, in partnership with the City of Lakeway Arts Committee, is proud to present a chamber music series dedicated to the timeless works of classical masters. Founded by musicians Andrew and Sari Pearce (bios below), the series features the duo performing alongside distinguished guest musicians in an exploration of cello and violin repertoire. Masterpiece Concert Series premieres in Lakeway this Fall
The Pearce Family Foundation for the Arts and Social Progress and the City of Lakeway Arts Committee are pleased to present the brand new Masterpiece Concert Series this fall. As a part of the highly popular Arts in the Afternoon series, this series of chamber music concerts will focus on cello and violin music featuring well known classical composers. Arts in the Afternoon: Pianist Maxwell Talai
On Sunday July 24th from 4-5pm, the Lakeway Arts Committee present Maxwell Talai, a talented classical pianist and composer who is the youngest in a family of famous and accomplished musicians. This free concert will be held at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek in Lakeway. Maxwell Milliano Talai Jr. is an American composer/pianist born 1996 in San Gabriel, California to a Creole/African American mother and Persian father. BuzzFest is an award-winning annual tech-art festival featuring nationally acclaimed electronic music performers and immersive light and sound art installations.
