Masterpiece Concert Series
The fourth season of the Masterpiece Concert Series begins with Concert No. 10 on Sunday, October 5th, at 4 p.m. at the Lakeway Activity Center. Presented by the Pearce Family Foundation for the Arts and Social Progress and the City of Lakeway Arts Committee, the series features chamber music for cello and violin from well-known classical composers. Andrew and Sari Pearce, the series founders, will perform alongside guest musicians. The concerts are part of the free and family-friendly Lakeway Arts in the Afternoon series and take place from 4-5 p.m. at the Lakeway Activity Center. Masterpiece Concert Series premieres in Lakeway this Fall
The Pearce Family Foundation for the Arts and Social Progress and the City of Lakeway Arts Committee are pleased to present the brand new Masterpiece Concert Series this fall. As a part of the highly popular Arts in the Afternoon series, this series of chamber music concerts will focus on cello and violin music featuring well known classical composers. Arts in the Afternoon: Pianist Maxwell Talai
On Sunday July 24th from 4-5pm, the Lakeway Arts Committee present Maxwell Talai, a talented classical pianist and composer who is the youngest in a family of famous and accomplished musicians. This free concert will be held at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek in Lakeway. Maxwell Milliano Talai Jr. is an American composer/pianist born 1996 in San Gabriel, California to a Creole/African American mother and Persian father. Arts in the Afternoon: Band of the Hills
Save the date for the next Arts in the Afternoon performance on February 27 from 4 pm to 5 pm at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek. This FREE concert will feature music by the Band of the Hills, a community band for all ages. Band of the Hills has entertained crowds around Central Texas for more than 20 years and performs a variety of music from classical to seasonal favorites.
