Celebrate Art & Community at the Cool Arts Show & Studio Tour!
The Lakeway Arts Committee is hosting its annual Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour on Saturday, August 24th from 1pm to 5pm at the Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek). Enjoy live music while browsing beautiful artwork from many local artists. There will be paintings, jewelry, pottery, and even fun children’s activities like face painting and art projects. Want to see more art? The Studio Tour is happening on both Saturday, August 24th and Sunday, August 25th from noon to 5pm. Women in Visual Art (WIVA) is a dynamic organization dedicated to championing the voices of women artists. They design, curate and produce the renowned annual Women in Art and Women in Photography exhibitions held in March for Women’s History Month each year. Inaugural Photography Exhibit Captures the Strength of Women
The Lakeway Arts District presents “Women in Photography”, a special photo exhibition celebrating Women’s History Month from March 1st – March 30th at the Lake Travis Community Library. This creative exhibit includes dramatic photos both by women photographers and portraits of women taken by local photographers. The exhibit was inspired by women’s history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality. We invite you to join us at the Artists Reception on March 9th from 1:30-3pm. Celebrate “Women in Art 2024” this February and March
Women in Art 2024” is a special two month-long art exhibition celebrating Women’s History from February 3rd – March 22nd at the The Hive Gallery in the Hill Country Galleria. This creative exhibit showcasing a diverse array of paintings, drawings, sculptures, mixed media, and fiber arts by 68 local women artists was inspired by women’s history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality.
