Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour features Local Artists
Don’t miss the 2023 Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour to enjoy the best local art in Lakeway! The Lakeway Arts Committee will hold the annual Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27. Over twenty artists will exhibit and sell their work at the Lakeway Activity Center from 1-5PM on Saturday, August 26th. Attendees will find paintings, watercolors, pottery, garden art and more from many talented local artists. Artist studio tours will be held around Lakeway on August 26 and 27 from 12-5pm. Celebrate Independence Day the Lakeway Way
Independence Day is the City of Lakeway’s biggest celebration of the year! This year there are lots of fun activities for the whole family. Exploring Planets and Stars at the Lake Travis Community Library
Join us at the Lake Travis Community Library for fun events this summer like experiencing the wonders of the night sky from inside a mobile planetarium! On June 9th from 12-3pm, you can enter the planetarium dome and be introduced to a “star filled” sky at the Library. A trained astronomy educator from Austin Stars and Science will guide you through the stars and our solar system with the use of a digital planetarium projector and a laser pointer. How to participate: There will be six, 30-minute Mobile Planetarium sessions (12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm, and 2:30pm) with a limit of 24 participants per session.
