Old Fashioned 4th of July Parades through Lakeway
Independence Day is the City of Lakeway’s biggest celebration of the year and is famous for its classic, old fashioned 4th of July parade. This year there are activities for the whole family. There is a patriotic themed Rhythms & Reels event Friday July 1st evening at City Park, the Lakeway 4th of July Parade on Monday morning, followed by a Hot Dog Reception provided by HEB Lakeway at the Lakeway Activity Center, and a special $4 entry fee at the Swim Center all day on July 4th! Congratulations to the 2022 Lakeway Photo Festival Winners!
The City of Lakeway Arts Committee is proud to announce the winners of the 20th Annual Lakeway Photo Festival for 2022! There were 103 beautiful photographs entered from 36 talented local Lakeway photographers. We are pleased to say that over 94% of the entries were entered digitally and all were displayed electronically at the Awards reception. Throughout the year, the City of Lakeway Arts Committee presents “Arts in the Afternoon” a series of arts events from various talented and local performers.
