The Hive Reopens

Please join to celebrate the reopening of The Hive in Bee Cave Friday October 16th from 6-8pm and enjoy the first sneak peak at The Bees of Bee Cave. The colony of giant bee sculptures will be making their outdoor debut at The Hill Country Galleria later this year but a few of them have landed in The Hive for your viewing pleasure. This exhibition features 10 artists selected by their proposed design, each celebrating the unique buzz of Bee Cave, from its hill country heritage to its vibrant contemporary style!

Also on exhibit is the work of the extremely talented middle school art students from Regents School of Austin. This work includes sculptures, drawings and an honorary collaborative painting.

Lastly The Bee Cave Arts Foundation is proud to partner with the City of Bee Cave to present the First ever Dark Skies Exhibition. In efforts to protect the City’s night skies, Bee Cave is pursuing a Dark Sky Community designation with the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA). In celebration of dark skies and the benefits they bring to our community we will be presenting local photography to promote dark sky awareness and make the importance of the night sky a focus point for the exhibition. This will be an ongoing exhibition, welcoming more participants to join in and submit their photographs. Stay tuned for more information!
