The Hive Reopens
Please join to celebrate the reopening of The Hive in Bee Cave Friday October 16th from 6-8pm and enjoy the first sneak peak at The Bees of Bee Cave. The colony of giant bee sculptures will be making their outdoor debut at The Hill Country Galleria later this year but a few of them have landed in The Hive for your viewing pleasure. Congratulations to the talented local artists chosen to represent their work for The Bees of Bee Cave outdoor sculptures. The Bees of Bee Cave is an outdoor public art project sponsored by the Bee Cave Arts Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with the mission to improve the quality of life in our community and enhance the experience of visitors by bringing awareness, education and integration of a wide range of art throughout public spaces. For 30 years, the local organization Salon Concerts has been nurturing the art and love of chamber music, providing wonderfully curated concert experiences to the greater Austin area in intimate settings. Their educational program, CHAMPS, is dedicated to providing hard-working young musicians with opportunities to deepen their lives through excellence in chamber music education and performance. Call for Artists to Help Preserve our Dark Skies
Call for Artists and Photographers! The City of Bee Cave in partnership with the Bee Cave Arts Foundation invites photographers of all levels to submit work reflecting the theme “The Night Sky.” There is no entry fee, and each photographer may submit up to five entries.
