The Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce is launching Taste Lake Travis – a food and beverage festival that will bring together the region’s leaders in food, beverage, and makers of artisan goods. The festival will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 12pm – 4pm at The Meadows at Safe Harbor Marina at Emerald Point on Lake Travis. The Lake Travis and Hill Country has become a region of curated foods, wines, distilleries, and other beverage makers. Join Lake Travis Film Festival and Lakeway Airpark for their final free Summer Movie screening of the year. This time, it’s the 1980 classic comedy, Airplane! The event starts at 7:30pm at Lakeway Airpark (115 Flying Scot St, Lakeway) in an actual airplane hangar. There will be free popcorn, pizza from CraigO’s and, for the grownups, there will be free Dirty Shirleys, the official cocktail of the 2023 LTFF festival, courtesy of Tito’s Vodka.
