Congratulations to the 2024 Lakeway Photo Festival Winners!
The City of Lakeway Arts Committee is proud to announce the winning photos for the 2024 Lakeway Photo Festival! There were 180 beautiful digital photographs entered from 60 talented local photographers – the highest numbers ever! The 12 categories this year were Abstract, Architecture, Birds, Community, Deer, Drone/Aerial, Greenscapes, Macro/Close-up, Pets, Skyscapes, Waterscapes and Wildlife. Enter the 2024 Lakeway Photo Festival
Celebrating its 22nd year, the 2024 Lakeway Photo Festival showcases both the unique beauty of our area and the amazing talents of local photographers. Photo categories this year include Abstract/Artistic, Architecture, Birds, Community, Drone/Aerial, Greenscapes, Macro/Closeup, Pets, Skyscapes, Waterscapes and Wildlife. Women in Visual Art (WIVA)
Women in Visual Art (WIVA) is a dynamic organization dedicated to championing the voices of women artists. They design, curate and produce the renowned annual Women in Art and Women in Photography exhibitions held in March for Women’s History Month each year. Over 100 artists and photographers plus thousands of visitors have celebrated women’s creativity and artistry over the years. Inaugural Photography Exhibit Captures the Strength of Women
The Lakeway Arts District presents “Women in Photography”, a special photo exhibition celebrating Women’s History Month from March 1st – March 30th at the Lake Travis Community Library. This creative exhibit includes dramatic photos both by women photographers and portraits of women taken by local photographers. The exhibit was inspired by women’s history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality. We invite you to join us at the Artists Reception on March 9th from 1:30-3pm.
