Art is Everywhere
We are finding art everywhere in Lakeway! Another beautiful sculpture has recently been generously gifted to the City of Lakeway. Join us Monday November 18th at 4:30pm when we celebrate the official unveiling of this monumental cast bronze sculpture “The Game” by acclaimed Californian artist Robert Holmes! It is located in the Hurst Creek Sculpture Garden (map) on Lohmans Crossing across from the Hamilton Greenbelt. Free to the public and refreshments provided. For Directions:

Lake Travis Film Festival
The Lake Travis Film Festival (LTFF) is set to run from February 27, 2020 to March 1, 2020, and will feature film panel discussions, film screenings, and exciting social events. It is a film festival with an eye to showcasing filmmakers around the globe with authenticity, vision, and purpose. LTFF is bringing together filmmakers to celebrate their accomplishments in the beautiful Texas Hill Country for a star studded weekend in late February 2020. An Afternoon of Opera: Mozart to Puccini
Opera Etc. will be performing at the Lake Travis Community Library in Lakeway, Texas on June 14, 2019 at 4:00pm. The program will feature of an hour of music from various operas featuring arias, duets, and trios in Italian, French, and German from a variety of opera composers including Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutti, La Clemenza di Tito and Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute). Local Painter Celebrates Willie Nelson
Local artist Sarah Walters will exhibit her artwork during the month of June at the Lake Travis Community Library. Working in acrylics, Walters enjoys painting her favorite performer, Willie Nelson. The community is invited to attend her reception on Saturday, June 1st from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

Color is My Language Exhibit
The Lake Travis Community Library will exhibit Color is My Language, the artwork of Barbara Kelley, during the month of May. Growing up in Ohio, Kelley’s love of color developed as she played dress up in her mother’s evening gowns, favoring the brightest colored pieces. After graduating with a Master of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance, Kelley’s color attraction continued as she performed in light opera companies, clad in beautiful, colorful costumes. After time off to raise her two sons and travel throughout the United States and Asia, Kelley later returned to the arts to study art history at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
