Go Behind the Scenes on the Lakeway Art Walk Studio Tour
Calling all art enthusiasts! The Lakeway Art Walk is happening this weekend, April 19th through 21st, and it’s your chance to delve deeper into the local art scene. Due to potential inclement weather, the outdoor exhibits and events at the Hamilton Greenbelt and Hurst Creek Sculpture Garden are cancelled, however there will still be self-guided Studio Tours (see interactive map below) on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 4pm, rain or shine. Exhibit your Artwork at the Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour
Don’t miss the annual Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour to enjoy the best local art in Lakeway! The Lakeway Arts Committee will hold the annual Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27. Over twenty artists will exhibit and sell their work at the Lakeway Activity Center. Attendees will find paintings, watercolors, pottery, garden art and more from many talented local artists. As an additional fun feature this year, visitors will be able to create a piece for a upcoming Lakeway Rock Garden in Hamilton Greenbelt. The City of Lakeway Arts Committee presents the 2023 Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour on August 26 from 1-5pm at the Lakeway Activity Center. This year the annual party has expanded to an unique arts festival chock full of live music and kids activities. The Studio Tour will take place on August 26th and 27th from 1-5pm at various artist studios in Lakeway. You won’t want to miss it! Historical Lakeway Highlighted on Heritage Tour
Join the City of Lakeway Heritage Committee for one of these three popular historic bus tours. The tours take you to several historical landmarks throughout Lakeway. The free bus tours are scheduled to leave Lakeway City Hall at 9:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. with committee members and volunteers guiding each tour, which lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Hill Country Galleria’s ART Walk returns!
Join us, Friday, April 16th from 4pm-8pm, for a night of fun and creative experiences at our galleries, plus multiple outdoor attractions. We will be offering a hands on mosaic activity in the Central Plaza, where there will be hand-held guides to help lead you on a self-guided tour exploring Hill Country Galleria art galleries, outdoor murals + sculptures, and a communal art project.
