Local Artists and Live Music at the Cool Arts Show & Studio Tour
The Lakeway Arts Committee is hosting its annual Cool Arts Show & Studio Tour on Saturday, August 24th from 1pm to 5pm at the Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek). Enjoy live music by Bethany Becker while browsing beautiful artwork from many local artists. There will be paintings, jewelry, pottery, and even fun children’s activities like face painting and art projects. Want to see more art? A Journey in Clay: The Art of Christy Stephens
Art has been Christy Stephens‘ lifelong passion. After high school, she pursued her artistic spirit by studying graphic design, and many are familiar with her design and illustrations. But Christy’s artistic journey extends beyond a single medium. “I’ve always enjoyed applying my art to different mediums,” says Christy. “It keeps things fresh and challenges me to grow.” In 2019, Christy discovered a new passion – pottery. Celebrating its 22nd year, the 2024 Lakeway Photo Festival showcases both the unique beauty of our area and the amazing talents of local photographers.
